US denies visa to Nicaraguan historian
Here is a little interesting tidbit you might've missed in the news today:US denies visa to visiting prof from Nicaragua for having taken part in the Sandinista uprising to overthrow Somoza in the 1980s. They say, of course, that she is a terrorist because she helped overthrow a brutal dictator who killed tens of thousands and who, by the way, is buried in Miami under the words "He loved his people" (I have seen this with my own eyes and am not making it up. Anastasio Somoza really is buried in Miami next to his mother and it really does say that on his memorial.)

It has been a long time since I lived in Florida ... I don't remember those worms! I replied to your post on my blog about the "Make Out" CD ... lol. Good to see you back posting!!

That's GREAT the U.S. shouldn't allow any Nicaraguan or anyone in general who is associated with TERRORIST like the Sandinistas.
Somoza was one of the greatest leader Nicaragua has ever had and the People of Nicaragua Agrees. The country was prosperous, the people had everything, until those savages [Sandinistas] destroyed everything that was good. What have the Sandinista contributed to Nicaragua NOTHING BUT MISERY. It was the sandinistas who killed tens of thousands of people, robbed the people of everything they had, sank the country into poverty and their "greatest" contribution COMMUNISM!
Somoza really loved his people. VIVA SOMOZA FOREVER!!!
