I hate that yet again in my life I have let something else (in this case grad school) distract me from writing.

Good God - that's how I feel the last few weeks. I just take solace in knowing that I've arrived at a point where the creative, thoughtful expression of my beliefs, observations, and emotions is a vital part of my life. I may not always be content with the what I'm writing or how much time I'm spending articulating my thoughts, but I'd rather be in that state than stumbling blindly in this political world.
